Viral: Vom Tatort ins Labor
Dem Verbrechen hautnah auf der Spur. Am 15. November startete in der Science-Pyramide der Sauerland-Pyramiden in Lennestadt-Meggen die spannende Ausstellung „Vom Tatort ins Labor - Rechtsmediziner decken auf." Zwischen März und September lief die wohl ungewöhnlichste Ausstellung des Jahres im Medizinhistorischen Museum der Charite in Berlin und wurde dort von über 50.000 begeisterten Besuchern gesehen. Nur wenige Menschen außerhalb der Rechtsmedizin haben eine realistische Vorstellung davon, wie es im Obduktionssaal, in den forensischen Laboratorien und im Alltag der Rechtsmedizin zugeht.
So bleibt die Welt der Rechtsmedizin außer Polizisten, Staatsanwälten und den Rechtsmedizinern der Allgemeinheit verschlossen. Vieles, was Rechtsmediziner in ihrem Alltag zu sehen bekommen, liegt jenseits der Vorstellungskraft der meisten Menschen.

Aussie kids ambush Beckham at World Cup 2010 draw
IT WAS the greatest piece of ambush marketing in the bitter battle for rights to host the 2018 World Cup. With the world's media assembled in Cape Town to judge the various bids, England produced their trump card by wheeling out superstar David Beckham, only to be outmanoeuvred by eight Aussie kids dressed in gold.
Prompted by Australian Sports Minister Kate Ellis, the children - in South Africa as part of our World Cup bid team - jumped into Beckham's path to ask for autographs. To complete the public relations hijacking, the kids were drenched in Australia's World Cup bid colours, as the flashbulbs of the world's press recorded the moment.
Earlier, the Australian video presentation had been universally praised as comfortably the most impressive of the 10 bidders. It concluded a successful week for the Australian delegation, with FIFA executives singing their praises, though another year of lobbying still lies ahead.
